Ruling the World
The genetic trait that creates psychopaths has been determined, and can be easily discovered when a child is born. It is also assured that the gene is dominant and will be passed onto the next generation. Extreme political pressure to make sure that psychopaths are not able to live among regular people causes an isolated township to be created. Psychopaths with memories and experiences in the regular world are fed a toxin that causes permanent amnesia, so while they‘re able to speak and function, the memories and experiences that created these automatic functions are lost forever. You are put in charge of this township.
To rule over these people, who, according to your superiors and debriefers, cannot be controlled by normal means, you are given three options, and if successful you may change the rules, or begin ruling as you wish to.
a) Rule by addiction - you may put an addictive compound into a certain food, like nicotine or a mild pleasure inducing drug, and fabric a lie about how the drug is necessary for survival and can only be made by your scientists (the latter which may well be true).
b) Rule by religion - taking an existing religion, or creating your own, you make sure every, especially children, are indoctrinated into believing that not following rules and regulations will incur horrible penalties in the next life, and shame in this one. Non-believers will be labelled as trying to twist believers away to save themselves.
c) Rule by oppression/fear - be a dictator, control every aspect of people’s lives, and assure them that an unknown enemy wants them all dead. Despite the small number of members in your township (2 in every 1000,000 a psychopath, so about 1,500 at first), you may hold fake spy trials or attacks to aid belief.
d) Rule by affection/awe - find a completely lovable figurehead or two, and paint them as vaulable but fragile people in need of protection and affection from the general populous. Encourage rumors about them and fake attacks from outside the township to encourage citizens to protect and aid your figures.
Which would you choose, and why?

Short feminist rant. Well, okay, not that short.
Listen, ladies. If you’re sick of being treated as less than men, stop judging yourself by male standards. It’s pissing me off. “Oh noes! Women who sit there while men buy them a drink or ask them out or propose marriage are submissive and pathetic!” Oh yeah? How about you LET men buy you a drink? How about ALLOW a man to ask you out? If you want to ask them out instead, go ahead, take that extra bit of control in your life, but don’t resent yourself for not acting in a stereotypically male way, because it’s okay to be still and be yourself and be passive.
Yeah, you heard me, passive.
It’s not a dirty word, it’s not pathetic, but you know what else? It’s nice. Women need to be told that being passive is bad because many women are naturally more passive than men, and frankly telling women that they’ll only be good enough if they act like men doesn’t sound like the feminist philosophy. We don’t reproduce asexually because men and women compliment each other, are inherently different creatures physically and mentally, and that’s okay. Why is it wrong for women to act like women instead of acting like men? It’s okay to smile when a man opens a door for you, because he’s not suggesting you’re too weak to do it yourself, it’s more a sign of respect and politeness than double standards, and since men opening doors for other men is ‘omg gaaaay’ I have no idea what message a woman who freaks out about it is sending.
Be a woman. It’s okay. We’re supposed to be fighting to be treated with an equal level of respect, not technology to help us pee standing up.

It seems I have a blog. Huh.
I'd like to take a moment to pout, as given the choice my title would be "(theoretically) Speaking". Why? Because I'm picky. Oh well.
Assuming I get anywhere with this thing, be prepared for an assortment of philosophical and psychological questions, rants about any topic known to man, half-baked poetry, the occasional scrap of fiction, and some occasional autobiographical *coughself-centeredcough* randomness.
Yes, I know no-one's going to read this because I'm new as new can be. I don't care. It's good to get your thoughts down, and yes, I know I sound really stuck up. I'm nervous. Go to hell.
